{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.15-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.15-030","heading":"Notice and action in asset disposition.","body":"For a limited cooperative association to dispose of assets under KRS 272A.15-020:\n(1) A majority of the board of directors, or a greater percentage if required by the\norganic rules, shall approve the proposed disposition; and\n(2) The board of directors sha ll call a members meeting to consider the proposed\ndisposition, hold the meeting not later than ninety (90) days after approval of the\nproposed disposition by the board, and mail or otherwise transmit or deliver in a\nrecord to each member:\n(a) The terms of the proposed disposition;\n(b) A recommendation that the members approve the disposition, or if the board\ndetermines that because of conflict of interest or other special circumstances it\nshould not make a favorable recommendation, the basis for that\ndetermination;\n(c) A statement of any condition of the board's submission of the proposed\ndisposition to the members; and\n(d) Notice of the meeting at which the proposed disposition will be considered,\nwhich shall be given in the same manner as notice of a spec ial meeting of\nmembers.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41084","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:23Z","sha256":"98146b89df235dd5016ffa425270ef9b9af8405c3e1404a316f5505cd8220955","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.15-020","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.15-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
