{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.3-010","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.3-010","heading":"Organizers -- Formation of limited cooperative association -- Articles","body":"of association.\n(1) A limited cooperative association shall be organized by one (1) or more organizers.\n(2) To form a limited cooperative association, an organizer of the asso ciation shall\ndeliver articles of association to the Secretary of State for filing. The limited\ncooperative association is formed when articles of association that comply with\nsubsection (3) of this section are filed by the Secretary of State, and are effe ctive as\ndetermined under KRS 14A.2-070.\n(3) The articles of association shall include:\n(a) The name of the association;\n(b) The purposes for which the association is formed;\n(c) The mailing address of the association's principal office;\n(d) The name and s treet address of the association's initial registered office and\nregistered agent that comply with KRS 14A.4-010;\n(e) The name and street address and, if different, mailing address of each\norganizer; and\n(f) The term for which the association is to exist if other than perpetual.\n(4) Subject to KRS 272A.1 -110, articles of association may contain any other\nprovisions in addition to those required by subsection (3) of this section not\ninconsistent with this chapter.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=40996","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:22Z","sha256":"5ea5e71a8e0bfbfc3426623b73f32e6378d6cd0656c997d134ce8c2b8f51ea48","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.2-050","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.3-020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
