{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.4-040","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.4-040","heading":"Voting by district, class, or voting group.","body":"(1) This section applies if the organic rules provide for voting by district or class, or if\nthere is one (1) or more identifiable voting groups that a proposed amendment to the\norganic rules would affect differently from other members with respect to matters\nidentified in KRS 272A.4-050(5)(a) to (e). Approval of the amendment requires the\nsame percentage of votes of the members of that district, class, or voting group\nrequired in KRS 272A.4-050 and 272A.5-120.\n(2) If a proposed amendment to the organic rules w ould affect members in two (2) or\nmore districts or classes entitled to vote separately under subsection (1) of this\nsection in the same or a substantially similar way, the districts or classes affected\nshall vote as a single voting group unless the organi c rules otherwise provide for\nseparate voting.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41002","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:22Z","sha256":"5f33adc04b39cebcae7ae99845730f58349b8ed49bb4f76641f1d6f7f50ad3c7","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.4-030","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.4-050"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
