{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.5-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.5-030","heading":"Liability as member for association's obligations.","body":"(1) Unless the articles of association otherwise provide, a debt, obligation, or other\nliability of a limited cooperative association is solely that of the association and is\nnot the debt, obligation, or liability of a member solely by reason of being a\nmember.\n(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1) of this section, under the written organic rules or\nunder another written agreement, a member may agree to be obligated personally\nfor any of the debts, obligations, and liabilities of the limited cooperative\nassociation.\n(3) Subsection (1) of this section shall not affect the liability of a member of a limited\ncooperative association for his or her own negligence, wrongful acts, or misconduct.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41008","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:22Z","sha256":"75d512e0342608fbfc281e09b0f6464c0996f5d5b97474835e080c37387f1eb2","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.5-020","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.5-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
