{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-272a.8-030","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 272A.8-030","heading":"Director qualifications.","body":"(1) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, and subject to subsection (3) of this\nsection, each director of a limited cooperative association shall be an individual\nwho is a member of the association or an individual who is designated by an entity\nmember for purposes of qualifying and serving as a director. Initial directors need\nnot be members.\n(2) Unless the organic rules otherwise provide, a director may be an officer or\nemployee of the limited cooperative association.\n(3) If the organic rules provide fo r nonmember directors, the number of nonmember\ndirectors may not exceed:\n(a) One (1), if there are two (2) through four (4) directors;\n(b) Two (2), if there are five (5) through eight (8) directors; or\n(c) One-third (1/3) of the total number of directors i f there are at least nine (9)\ndirectors.\n(4) The organic rules may provide qualifications for directors in addition to those in\nthis section.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=41032","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:22Z","sha256":"84d99265f61d9f27c2393e5b618c7051f2e456b6c3187f7fe6a41979c23d18b8","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-272a.8-020","next":"us-ky/krs-272a.8-040"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
