{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-273.320","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 273.320","heading":"Involuntary dissolution.","body":"A corporation may be dissolved involuntarily by a decree of the Circuit Court in an action\nfiled by the Attorney General when it is established that:\n(1) The corporation is guilty of abuse or misuse of its corporate powers, privileges or\nfranchises, or the corporation has become detrimental to the interest and welfare of\nthe Commonwealth of Kentucky or its citizens; or\n(2) The corporation procured its articles of incorporation through fraud; or\n(3) The corporation has failed to file its annual report as req uired by KRS 14A.6 -010;\nor\n(4) The corporation has failed to appoint and maintain a registered agent in this state; or\n(5) The corporation has failed after change of its registered agent to file in the office of\nthe Secretary of State a statement of such change.","path":["KRS Chapter 273"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=36681","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:24Z","sha256":"e7e73393a30decb1c1720d67c734527e15b28f049c579cca811c219d75fb5142","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-273.3184","next":"us-ky/krs-273.323"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
