{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-273.387","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 273.387","heading":"Application of act to corporations in existence on June 30, 1968.","body":"(1) KRS 273.161 to 273.390, so far as it can be made applicable, shall apply to any\nnonstock, nonprofit corporation in existence on June 30, 1968, which was formed\nunder the general laws of this state relating to religious, educational, charitable,\ncivic, athl etic, recreational, and social nonstock, nonprofit corporations, or by\nspecial act, for a purpose or purposes for which a corporation might be formed\nunder KRS 273.161 to 273.390.\n(2) It shall not be necessary for any such existing corporation to amend its articles to set\nforth the provisions required by KRS 273.161 to 273.390 to be set forth in articles\nof incorporation.\n(3) Such existing corporations shall have all the powers enumerated in KRS 273.171.","path":["KRS Chapter 273"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13728","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:25Z","sha256":"a55850f140df868d8e9265d87335245747f99016f14d2391a8deb3e623320dfe","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-273.383","next":"us-ky/krs-273.390"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
