{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-273a.125","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 273A.125","heading":"Dissolution.","body":"(1) An unincorporated nonprofit association may be dissolved as follows:\n(a) If the governing principles provide a time or method for dissolution, at that\ntime or by that method;\n(b) If the governing principles do not provide a time or method for dissolution,\nupon approval by the members;\n(c) If no member can be located and the association's operations have been\ndiscontinued for at least three (3) years, by the managers or, if the association\nhas no current manager, by its last manager;\n(d) By court order; or\n(e) Under law other than this chapter.\n(2) After dissolution, an unincorporated nonprofit association continues in existence\nuntil its activities have been wound up and it is terminated pursuant to KRS\n273A.130.","path":["KRS Chapter 273A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=44349","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:26Z","sha256":"d586e1d44c1a50a646d4f914e825b51ee9e3b435e06455ff7117f0c4e8e4d716","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-273a.120","next":"us-ky/krs-273a.130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
