{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-274.991","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 274.991","heading":"Additional penalties for violation of KRS 506.010, 506.030, 506.040,","body":"521.020, or 521.050.\n(1) If a domestic professional service corporation is convicted of a violation of KRS\n506.010, 506.030, 506.040, 521.020, or 521.050, or if an officer, employee, or agent\nof the corporation violates any of those sections under circumstances which bring\ncorporate liability under KRS 502.050(1)(b), the court shall order that the charter of\nthe professional service corporation be suspended for a period of not more th an five\n(5) years for a first offense, ten (10) years for a second offense, and permanently for\na third or subsequent offense.\n(2) If a foreign professional service corporation is convicted of violating any section\nspecified in subsection (1) of this secti on, or if an officer, employee, or agent of the\ncorporation violates any of those sections under circumstances which bring\ncorporate liability under KRS 502.050(1)(b), the court shall order that the\nprofessional service corporation not be permitted to do business in Kentucky for the\nappropriate period specified in subsection (1) of this section.\n(3) The penalties specified in this section shall be in addition to any other penalty\nspecified by law for the commission of the offenses listed in subsection (1) o f this\nsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 274"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13826","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:26Z","sha256":"4268ed12b48396aba8f4d0b08977694d57eea08c78e053ffc3383a82344dbba6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-274.990","next":"us-ky/krs-275.001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
