{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-275.415","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 275.415","heading":"Registered office and registered agent for foreign limited liability","body":"company.\nEach foreign limited liability company authorized to transact business in this\nCommonwealth shall continuously maintain in this Commonwealth:\n(1) A registered office that may be the same as any of its places of business; and\n(2) A registered agent, who may be:\n(a) An individual who resides in this Commonwealth and whose business office\nis identical with the registered office;\n(b) A domestic corporation or not-for-profit domestic corporation whose business\noffice is identical with the registered office;\n(c) A foreign corporation or foreign not -for-profit corporation authorized to\ntransact business in this Commonwealth whose business office is identical\nwith the registered office; or\n(d) A domestic limited liability company or a foreign limited liability company\nauthorized to transact business in this Commonwealth whose business address\nis identical with the registered office.\n(3) The registered agent shall execute and deliver to  the Secretary of State a document\naccepting the agency appointment, and the appointment of the agent shall not be\neffective until delivered to the Secretary of State.","path":["KRS Chapter 275"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=13916","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:27Z","sha256":"a0159f8d28039d7b95ec411a52d837d1b03103c258fa786a39aeca7539e12603","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-275.410","next":"us-ky/krs-275.420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
