{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-277.070","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 277.070","heading":"Map of route to be recorded -- Notice to Transportation Cabinet if another","body":"railroad crossed.\n(1) Every railroad company proceeding to construct its road in or through any county\nshall file and have recorded at its expense, in the office of the county clerk of that\ncounty, a map of the route showing the center and the width of the proposed road.\nIf, after the map is filed and recorded, the location or the proposed route is changed,\na map showing the change, and the center and width thereof, shall be fil ed and\nrecorded at the expense of the company in the office of the county clerk of the\ncounty in which the change is made.\n(2) If the proposed route indicated by the map crosses the line of any other railroad, the\ncompany filing the map shall, before comme ncing the construction of the road near\nthe point of crossing, notify the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The cabinet shall\nnotify the company whose road it is proposed to cross, and the company proposing\nto cross it, that if any objection is made to the crossing the cabinet will meet, at a\nstated time and place, to consider the question of approving the crossing.
