{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-277.350","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 277.350","heading":"Criminal trespass on railroad property.","body":"(1) It shall be unlawful for any person without the consent of the railroad:\n(a) To go upon the track, property, or right-of-way of a railroad, other than to pass\nover the track, property, or right-of-way at a public or private crossing; or\n(b) To willfully ri de, drive, or lead any animal or otherwise contrive for any\nanimal to go over the track, property, or right -of-way at a public or private\ncrossing.\n(2) The provisions of this section shall not apply to any section of railroad track that has\nbeen legally abandoned and is not being used for railroad purposes.\n(3) Any person violating this section shall be guilty of criminal trespass in the second\ndegree.","path":["KRS Chapter 277"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14027","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:29Z","sha256":"1cdc0aa0dafb32b146be0574551da54cba25111d6894dbfef2bc03535385cd2d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-277.340","next":"us-ky/krs-277.355"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
