{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-279.410","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 279.410","heading":"Amendment of articles of incorporation.","body":"(1) A cooperative may amend its articles of incorporation by complying with the\nfollowing requirements, provided, however, that a change of location of principal\noffice may be effected in the manner set forth in KRS 279.420. The proposed\namendment shall be pre sented to a meeting of the members, the notice of which\nshall set forth or have attached thereto the proposed amendment. If the proposed\namendment, with any changes, is approved by the affirmative vote of not less than\ntwo-thirds (2/3) of those members vot ing thereon at such meeting, articles of\namendment shall be executed and acknowledged on behalf of the cooperative by its\npresident or vice president and its seal shall be affixed thereto and attested by its\nsecretary. The articles of amendment shall recit e that they are executed pursuant to\nthis section and shall state:\n(a) The name of the cooperative;\n(b) The address of its principal office; and\n(c) The amendment to its articles of incorporation.\n(2) The president or vice president executing such articles  of amendment shall make\nand annex thereto an affidavit stating that the provisions of this section in respect of\nthe amendment set forth in such articles were duly complied with.","path":["KRS Chapter 279"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14217","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:31Z","sha256":"cf11ce9cfb4c640c73281d605f485f76474ce7641e0d8d38db34e0df280e8ffa","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-279.400","next":"us-ky/krs-279.420"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
