{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-279.490","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 279.490","heading":"Fees for articles and amendments -- No recording taxes.","body":"(1) For acting upon, filing and recording articles of incorporation, articles of\nconsolidation, articles of dissolution, or amendments to articles of incorporation or\nconsolidation, the corporation shall pay to the Secretary of State a sum not to\nexceed two dollars ($2), for which the Secretary of State shall give his receipt.\n(2) For filing and recording articles of incorporation, articles of consolidation, articles\nof dissolution, or amendments to articles of incorporation or consolidation, the\ncorporation shall pay to the county clerk a fee pursuant to KRS 64.012, for which\nthe county clerk shall give his receipt.\n(3) No fee shall be paid or received for affixing the state seal to any of the documents\nmentioned in this section or to any copy thereof.\n(4) The recordation of the documents mentioned in this section shall be exempt from all\nrecording taxes.","path":["KRS Chapter 279"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14225","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:32Z","sha256":"73f5265584614c134786fad7f90634796de2af308f6557a65a049f73c82f9dca","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-279.480","next":"us-ky/krs-279.500"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
