{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-27a.052","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 27A.052","heading":"Circuit Court clerk salary account.","body":"(1) The Circuit Court clerk salary account is created as a trust and agency account in\nthe State Treasury to be administered by the Administrative Office of the Courts.\nThe account shall consist of proceeds from grants, contributions, appropriations, or\nother moneys made available for the purposes of the account.\n(2) Notwithstanding KRS 45.229, any moneys remaining in the account not expended\nat the close of a fiscal year shall not lapse but shall be carried forward to the next\nfiscal year.\n(3) Any interest ear nings of the account shall become a part of the account and shall\nnot lapse.\n(4) Moneys in the account shall be used for the purposes of hiring additional deputy\ncircuit clerks and providing salary adjustments to deputy circuit clerks and are\nhereby appropriated for these purposes.","path":["KRS Chapter 27A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=53611","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:47Z","sha256":"0d131b74918f03267620710ca4262edddac28b01b9cc2ab0b76fe5513e1cc740","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-27a.050","next":"us-ky/krs-27a.055"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
