{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-27a.080","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 27A.080","heading":"Juvenile court records to be deposited with Administrative Office of","body":"the Courts -- Availability of records.\n(1) The Administrative Office of the Courts shall be the primary repository of court\nrecords of juveniles charged with, arrested for, and against whom  complaints\nhave  been  filed, involving status offenses, public offenses, and  youthful\noffender proceedings, together with all court records of the handling and\ndisposition of those cases, and shall keep and maintain these records.\n(2) The Administrative Office of the Courts shall make juvenile records available to\nthe agencies and persons specified by law.\n(3) All courts, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, the Department of Juvenile\nJustice, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Justice and Public\nSafety Cabinet, except the Department of Public Advocacy, and other agencies\nholding records coming within the purview of subsection (1) of this section shall\nmake  them available to the Administrative Office of the Courts in the manner\nand at the times specified by the Administrative Office of the Courts.","path":["KRS Chapter 27A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=46878","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:47Z","sha256":"bd3a9c53ec5dca35ab1f1c37a5e139bfc0f8f51af45f1d534ee8999ad84f3176","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-27a.070","next":"us-ky/krs-27a.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
