{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-27a.340","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 27A.340","heading":"Prosecution/grand jury level.","body":"The prosecution/grand jury level of the system shall consist of at least the following\ninformation:\n(1) Listing of each charged offense by name and KRS number;\n(2) Level of offense charged or degree of offense charged for each offense in subsection\n(1) of this section;\n(3) Number of charged offenses;\n(4) If the case was disposed of by the prosecutor, the nature of such disposition and the\ndate of such disposition;\n(5) A listing of the charges disposed of in subsection (4) of this section;\n(6) A correlation of the number of offenses charged at arrest and the number of offenses\nbrought before the grand jury, offense by offense;\n(7) Listing of each charged offense, and the level thereof, brought before the grand jury;\n(8) Listing of the disposition of each charged offense brought before the grand jury;\n(9) Date of indictment;\n(10) Listing of each charged offense, and the level thereof, for which the offender was\nindicted;\n(11) Listing of the number of criminal complaints brought before the prosecutor by\nwritten complaint, the offense alleged, and the disposition thereof; and\n(12) Listing of the number of criminal complaints sought by citizens upon which no\naction was taken by the prosecutor, the offense alleged, and the date of disposition.\nAll data required by t his section shall be supplied to the circuit clerk by each\nCommonwealth's and county attorney, if it is not already in the possession of the clerk.","path":["KRS Chapter 27A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=20954","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:47Z","sha256":"0ef2dec93a968e64b519ed3516f4cd237cfb19f33c55290af6c3bb1a1d19c6ef","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-27a.330","next":"us-ky/krs-27a.350"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
