{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281.590","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281.590","heading":"Declaration of policy.","body":"It is hereby declared to be the public policy of this Commonwealth:\n(1) To provide for fair and impartial regulation of all transportation subject to the\nprovisions of this chapter, so administered as to recognize and preserve the inherent\nadvantages of ea ch type of motor transportation; to promote safe, adequate,\neconomical and efficient service;\n(2) To encourage the establishment and maintenance of reasonable charges for such\ntransportation service, without unjust discriminationsor undue preferences or\nadvantages; and\n(3) To cooperate with the several states and the duly authorized officials thereof, all to\nthe end of developing, coordinating and preserving a state transportation system by\nmotor vehicles as defined in this chapter adequate to meet the need s of this\nCommonwealth.
