{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281.855","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281.855","heading":"Classification of trailers as private passenger automobiles for purpose of","body":"reciprocal provisions.\nFor the purpose of the interstate and intrastate reciprocal provisions of this chapter and\nKRS Chapter 186, automobile utility trailers shall be classifi ed the same as private\npassenger automobiles and extended the same privileges, provided, however, that every\nautomobile utility trailer lessor shall register with the department, license and pay all\napplicable taxes on a number of such trailers equal to th e average number of automobile\nutility trailers he operated during the previous licensing year in and through the\nCommonwealth of Kentucky. Thereafter, all such trailers properly identified and licensed\nin any state, territory, province, country, or the Di strict of Columbia, and belonging to\nsuch person, shall be permitted to operate in this state in both interstate and intrastate\ncommerce.
