He shall inform the applicant that the information provided may be\nused or the applicant's previous employers may be contacted for the purpose of\ninvestigating the applicant's work history.\n(2) No employer shall knowingly allow, permit, or authorize a driver to drive a\ncommercial vehicle during any period in which the driver:\n(a) Has had his commercial driver's license suspended, revoked, or canceled by\nany state;\n(b) Is currently disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle;\n(c) Is subject to an out-of-service order in any state;\n(d) Has more than one (1) driver's license;\n(e) Does not currently hold a valid commercial driver's license; or\n(f) Is in violation of any of the railroad crossing offenses or conduct set forth in\nKRS 189.500, 189.560, or 189.565.","path":["KRS Chapter 281A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14466","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:35Z","sha256":"d538ea8f5cc2307fba8bbacbd2613bc3ce15eec34b754e596844cfaff8eae7b6","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-281a.070","next":"us-ky/krs-281a.090"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
