{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281a.100","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281A.100","heading":"Release of information regarding commercial driving history record.","body":"(1) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the Transportation\nCabinet shall upon request furnish full information regarding the commercial\ndriving history record of any person to the following:\n(a) The driver licensing administrator, court  official, or police agency of this or\nany other state or foreign jurisdiction, requesting that information;\n(b) Any employer or prospective employer;\n(c) The commercial driver; or\n(d) Any other person so established by administrative regulation, pursuant to KRS\nChapter 13A, of the cabinet.\n(2) The cabinet may charge a fee of five dollars ($5) for this service.\n(3) The driving history record of a commercial driver shall include, but not be limited\nto, convictions for any moving traffic violation, traffic ac cident record, and all out -\nof-state moving traffic convictions.\n(4) If a person legally entitled to a commercial driving history releases information\nconcerning the driving history record of a commercial driver, a state agency,\nemployee, or agent shall not be held liable.","path":["KRS Chapter 281A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14469","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:35Z","sha256":"cc358938cf30615442dbfbc8051707f7dd4582b4e17e9750dd77b4e6822f8a54","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-281a.0901","next":"us-ky/krs-281a.110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
