{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281a.180","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281A.180","heading":"Renewal or transfer -- Application for endorsement.","body":"(1) Every person applying for renewal or transfer of a commercial driver's license from\nanother issuing jurisdiction, shall complete an application as required by KRS\n281A.140, providing updated information, testing, and required certifications.\n(2) If a person applies for a renewal or transfer of a commercial driver's license or seeks\nto add an endorsement, or has a hazardous materials endorsement and applies to\nretain the endorsement, he shall provide the required medical certificate and take the\nknowledge te st for a hazardous materials endorsement again, unless he provides\nproof that he has taken and passed the hazardous materials knowledge test within\nthe preceding two (2) years.\n(3) Every person applying to add an endorsement to his existing commercial driv er's\nlicense shall complete an application as required by KRS 281A.140, providing\nupdated information and certifications.
