{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281a.185","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281A.185","heading":"Masking, delaying, or diverting CLP or CDL holder's conviction for","body":"violation of state or local traffic control law prohibited -- Exemptions -- Report\nof conviction.\n(1) The Commonwealth shall not mask, defer imposition of judgment, or  allow an\nindividual to enter into a diversion program that would prevent a CLP or CDL\nholder's conviction for any violation, in any type of motor vehicle, of a state or local\ntraffic control law from appearing on the CDLIS driver record, whether the drive r's\nconviction was for an offense committed in the Commonwealth or another state.\n(2) This section shall not apply to the following violations:\n(a) Parking;\n(b) Vehicle weight; or\n(c) Vehicle defect.\n(3) When any actions under subsection (1) of this sectio n occur, the conviction must be\nreported from the court to the licensing agency to be recorded on the driver's record\nand trigger any appropriate disqualifying action.","path":["KRS Chapter 281A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=56483","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:53:35Z","sha256":"12ca3882ea75cbf4c520f209d580bf40198f40b7441c32e3cb35fc3a316a894f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-281a.180","next":"us-ky/krs-281a.190"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
