{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-281a.240","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 281A.240","heading":"Recognition of commercial driver's license or permit of foreign","body":"jurisdiction -- Effect of foreign convictions.\n(1) Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a person may drive a commercial motor\nvehicle in this state if the person has a valid  commercial driver's license or\ncommercial learner's permit issued by any state, Canada, or Mexico in accordance\nwith the minimum federal standards for the issuance of commercial motor vehicle\ndriver's licenses, if:\n(a) The person's driving privilege is not suspended, revoked, or canceled; and\n(b) The person is not disqualified from driving a commercial motor vehicle or\nsubject to an out-of-service order.\n(2) The Commonwealth of Kentucky shall give all out -of-state convictions full faith\nand credit and trea t them for sanctioning purposes under this chapter as if they\noccurred in this state.
