{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.11-021","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.11-021","heading":"Renewal of license and annual report -- Expiration and reinstatement","body":"of license.\n(1) A licensee under this subtitle shall pay an annual renewal fee of five hundred\ndollars ($500) no later than September 20 of each year.\n(2) The renewal fee shall be  accompanied by a written renewal report, in a form\nprescribed by the commissioner, which shall include:\n(a) A copy of the licensee's most recent audited annual financial statement, or if\nthe licensee is a wholly owned subsidiary of another corporation, th e most\nrecent audited consolidated annual financial statement of the parent\ncorporation, or the licensee's most recent audited financial statement;\n(b) For the most recent quarter for which data is available prior to the date of the\nfiling of the renewal a pplication, but in no event more than one hundred\ntwenty (120) days prior to the renewal date, a list of the number of payment\ninstruments sold by the licensee in the state, the dollar amount of those\ninstruments, and the dollar amount of those instruments currently outstanding;\n(c) Any material changes to any of the information submitted by the licensee on\nits original application which have not previously been reported to the\ncommissioner on any other report required to be filed under this subtitle;\n(d) A list of the licensee's permissible investments under this subtitle and a\ncertification that the licensee continues to maintain permissible investments\naccording to the requirements set forth in KRS 286.11-015; and\n(e) A list of the locations, including na mes, physical addresses, and telephone\nnumbers, in this state where the licensee or agent of the licensee engages in\nmoney transmission.\n(3) The failure of a licensee to pay the annual renewal fee or file the written renewal\nreport, by the renewal date of September 20, shall result in the expiration of the\nlicensee's license by operation of law by September 30 of the same year. The\ncommissioner may reinstate the license if the licensee becomes compliant with this\nsubtitle and pays a civil penalty equal to t he amount of the annual renewal fee, as\nspecified in this section, within thirty (30) days of the expiration of the license.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14954","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:15Z","sha256":"9e60dc2e26d209841489c611da988bebfc2bb948a1e312ea380dc94e21898dee","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.11-019","next":"us-ky/krs-286.11-023"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
