{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.11-032","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.11-032","heading":"Definition -- Commissioner's power to order submission of required","body":"filings to the registry, its parent or affiliate, and other agencies or authorities --\nPower to establish relationships or contracts with governmental agencies and\nthe registry or i ts affiliates -- Report of violations, enforcement actions, and\nother relevant information -- Procedure for requesting information from and\ndistributing information to the United States Department of Justice.\n(1) As used in this section, \"registry\" mean s the State Regulatory Registry, LLC, or its\nsuccessor organization.\n(2) When an application, report, or approval request is required by this subtitle to be\nfiled with the commissioner, the commissioner may by rule or order require the\nfiling of the applic ation, report, or approval request, including the applicable fees,\nbe submitted to:\n(a) The State Regulatory Registry, LLC, or its successor organization;\n(b) The registry's parent, affiliate, or operating subsidiary; or\n(c) Other agencies or authorities, as part of a nationwide licensing system; which\nmay act as an agent for receiving, requesting, and distributing information to\nand from any source directed by the commissioner.\n(3) (a) The commissioner is authorized to establish relationships or contracts with\nother governmental agencies, the registry, or entities affiliated with the\nregistry that he or she deems necessary to carry out the purpose of this section.\n(b) The commissioner may report violations of this subtitle, enforcement actions,\nand other re levant information to governmental agencies, the registry, or\naffiliated entities with which the commissioner has established a relationship\nor contract, notwithstanding any provision to the contrary in this subtitle.\n(4) For purposes of this section and t o reduce the points of contact which the Federal\nBureau of Investigation may have to maintain for purposes of this subtitle, the\ncommissioner may use other governmental agencies, the registry, or entities\naffiliated with the registry, as an agent for reque sting information from and\ndistributing information to the United States Department of Justice or other\ngovernmental agencies.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=42388","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:15Z","sha256":"4232c99ab4d5493456e600f5f69c58d1ca6aef1d9e7607de207262df3ccf1512","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.11-031","next":"us-ky/krs-286.11-033"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
