{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.11-035","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.11-035","heading":"Authorized agent contracts.","body":"Licensees desiring to conduct licensed activities through agents shall authorize each agent\nto operate pursuant to an express written contract, which shall include the following\nprovisions:\n(1) That the licensee designates the person as its agent with auth ority to engage in\nmoney transmission on behalf of the licensee as authorized under this subtitle;\n(2) That the agent shall operate in full compliance with this subtitle, and rules\npromulgated under this subtitle, and any order issued by the commissioner p ursuant\nto this subtitle;\n(3) That neither a licensee nor an agent of the licensee may authorize subagents;\n(4) That the agent shall timely remit all money legally due to the licensee in accordance\nwith the terms of the written contract between the licensee and the agent;\n(5) That the licensee and agent are subject to regulation by the commissioner; and\n(6) That the licensee and agent shall comply with applicable federal and state law.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14961","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:15Z","sha256":"1329b9e987db3bd44da6856c134ede7487a9f9c55bead50501464b72112ed976","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.11-033","next":"us-ky/krs-286.11-037"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
