{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.11-053","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.11-053","heading":"Right of aggrieved person to apply for administrative hearing -- Appeal","body":"from final order to Franklin Circuit Court.\n(1) Any person aggrieved by the entry of an order by the commissioner under this\nsubtitle may file written application for an administrative hearing.\n(2) The written application for a hearing under this subtitle shall be made in good faith\nand shall state the reasons or grounds the person is so aggrieved and the remedy\nsought at the hearing.\n(3) Any application for a hearing under this  subtitle shall be filed with the\ncommissioner within twenty (20) days of the date of the order.\n(4) If the commissioner finds that the application for a hearing is made in good faith,\nand that the applicant would be aggrieved as claimed if his or her grou nds are\nestablished, then a hearing shall be held in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(5) An appeal from the commissioner shall be taken only from a final order.\n(6) The appeal from a final order issued by the commissioner shall be granted as a\nmatter of right to the Franklin Circuit Court.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=14970","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:15Z","sha256":"44088691e3c840597435445694fa4f9471dc0b5e49043505da374a6a3816d0ad","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.11-051","next":"us-ky/krs-286.11-055"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
