(Effective April 30, 2027)\n(1) (a) The commissioner:\n1. Shall enforce the provisions of this subtitle; and\n2. Subject to paragraph (b) of this subsection, may promulgate\nadministrative regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A that the\ncommissioner determines are necessary to effectuate, or aid in the\neffectuation of, this subtitle.\n(b) The discretion to promulgate admi nistrative regulations under paragraph (a)2.\nof this subsection shall be supplemental to any other provisions of this subtitle\nrelating to the promulgation of administrative regulations.\n(2) (a) The commissioner may, by order, require licensees to file wit h the\ncommissioner any:\n1. Special report that the commissioner determines is necessary for the\nproper supervision of virtual currency kiosk business under this subtitle;\nand\n2. Regular report that is:\na. Developed as a uniform report by state regulators; and\nb. Submitted in accordance with KRS 286.13-030.\n(b) All reports filed under this subtitle shall contain a certification by an executive\nofficer or director of the licensee that attests to the truth and  correctness of the\nreport.\n(3) The commissioner may invoke the aid of the courts through injunction or other\nproper process to:\n(a) Enjoin any existing or threatened violation of this subtitle; or\n(b) Enforce any proper order or action issued or taken by the commissioner.\n(4) (a) The remedies and penalties set forth in this subtitle shall be cumulative.\n(b) This subtitle shall not be construed to limit or restrict the powers, duties,\nremedies, or penalties available to the commissioner or any other person\nunder any other statutory or common law.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58279","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:16Z","sha256":"4dac57e20d28ecb1e0bbfecc745abd31e363e157b000edd6100ee60e20a8609b","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.13-015","next":"us-ky/krs-286.13-025"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
