(Effective April 30, 2027)","body":"(1) Subject to KRS 286.13 -125, the commissioner may issue a cease and desist order\nrequiring an applicant, a licensee, a virtual currency kiosk operator, an agent, or any\nother person to cease and desist from violating one (1) or more identified provisions\nof the following, if the commissioner has reason to believe or determines that the\nviolations have occurred or will occur:\n(a) This subtitle;\n(b) An administrative regulation promulgated under this subtitle;\n(c) An order issued under this subtitle; or\n(d) An agreement entered with the commissioner relating to compliance with this\nsubtitle.\n(2) A cease and desist order issued under this section shall remain in effect until it is:\n(a) Stayed, withdrawn, suspended, or superseded by order of the commissioner;\nor\n(b) Terminated by court order.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=58303","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:16Z","sha256":"bf006838672717a374836e17d63e509aca67a00fc0ab6150269fab937ce011d9","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.13-135","next":"us-ky/krs-286.13-145"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
