{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.4-470","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.4-470","heading":"Limitation on locations at which business may be conducted --","body":"Construction of subtitle regarding types of loans.\n(1) No licensee shall conduct the business authorized by this subtitle in any office,\nroom, or place of business in which any oth er business, except purchase of retail\nand installment sales contracts, tax preparation, and motor club memberships, is\nsolicited or engaged in, or in association or conjunction therewith, except upon a\nwritten authorization from the commissioner. The comm issioner shall have sixty\n(60) days to either approve or deny the written authorization request.\n(2) Nothing in this subtitle shall be construed to limit the loans of any licensee to\nresidents of the community in which the licensed place of business is sit uated, nor\nto prohibit the making and collecting of loans by mail.\n(3) Nothing in this subtitle shall be construed to limit the ability of any licensee to\nmake a loan or loans in the principal amount greater than fifteen thousand dollars\n($15,000) at the licensed location at the same rates as provided in KRS 360.010.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48939","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:11Z","sha256":"b5baebfc346ca5f50b2f6b7d98e3529573388c49d52cb2015eb122d7c7946919","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.4-465","next":"us-ky/krs-286.4-480"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
