{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-286.4-480","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 286.4-480","heading":"Duration of license -- Payment of annual fee -- Expiration --","body":"Reinstatement.\n(1) Each license shall remain in full force and effect until it is surrendered by the\nlicensee, suspended, revoked, or expired as provided in this subtitle. Each lic ensee\nshall, on or before each December 31, pay to the commissioner the annual license\nfee for the next succeeding calendar year.\n(2) Failure of a licensee to pay the annual license fee required by this section shall\nresult in the expiration of the licensee's license on January 1 of the following year.\n(3) The commissioner may reinstate an expired license if, within thirty-one (31) days of\nexpiration, the licensee:\n(a) Satisfies all requirements set forth in this subtitle; and\n(b) Pays a one hundred dollar ($100) late fee.\n(4) Any reinstatement under subsection (3) of this section shall be retroactive to\nJanuary 1 of the calendar year in which it expired.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=48940","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:11Z","sha256":"bf2156c9b424ee9c02429ef20bb3d084900aee505ed248502045816dd32ed2c4","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-286.4-470","next":"us-ky/krs-286.4-490"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
