{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-299.019","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 299.019","heading":"Reporting and filing requirements.","body":"(1) Every company licensed under this chapter shall provide to the commissioner a list\nof its officers and directors, their names, addresses, principal business activities, and\noccupations or employment.\n(2) Every company licensed under this chapter shall file  with the commissioner a copy\nof any management contract, third -party administrator contract, agency contract, or\nany other agreement, contract, or document whereby rights or duties of the company\nare assigned or delegated to another entity. No agreement s hall be effective until\napproved by the commissioner. An agreement may be disapproved if, after a\nhearing under KRS Chapter 13B, the commissioner finds that the agreement does\nnot comply with the following conditions:\n(a) The agreement shall be the result of an arms length transaction between the\ncompany and any other party;\n(b) The terms of the agreement shall be fair and reasonable to the parties, and the\ncharges or fees for all services provided shall be reasonable;\n(c) The books, accounts, and records o f each party to the agreement shall be\nmaintained to clearly and accurately disclose the precise nature and details of\nthe transaction; and\n(d) The agreement shall be made for the benefit of the policyholders of the\ncompany.","path":["KRS Chapter 299"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=15821","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:26Z","sha256":"69a3cfc3dc99204ea52605ccd688ce782b92046d3047c95b5cb25429241ddd98","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-299.018","next":"us-ky/krs-299.020"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
