{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-299.460","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 299.460","heading":"Examination of companies by commissioner -- Action against violators.","body":"The commissioner shall examine into the management of any company whenever he\ndeems it prudent for the protection of policyholders in this state, but not less frequently\nthan once in every four (4) years. He shall also examine into the management of a\ncompany upon the application of ten (10) of its members, or twenty-five percent (25%) of\nits board of directors, or its president or secretary. The company shall pay all expenses of\nthe examination which shall promptly be deposited in the State Treasury \"Exami nation\nExpense Revolving Fund\" established in KRS 304.2 -300. If the commissioner finds that\nthe company or any director, agent, adjuster, employee, administrator, or officer has been\nor is violating the provisions of KRS 299.310 to 299.450, or the bylaws o f the company,\nhe shall proceed in like manner as with other insurers guilty of like violations.
