{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-29a.990","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 29A.990","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(1) Any employer who violates KRS 29A.160(1) or (2) is guilty of a Class B\nmisdemeanor.\n(2) Any willful violation of KRS 29A.010 to 29A.330 for which a penalty is not\notherwise provided by statute shall be punishable as a Class A misdemeanor.\n(3) Any person who violates:\n(a) KRS 29A.215(1)(a) shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor; or\n(b) KRS 29A.215(1)(b) shall be guilty of a Class D felony;\nunless the person is a public servant as defined in KRS 519.010, in which case the\nperson shall be penalized one (1) class more severely than provided under this\nsubsection.","path":["KRS Chapter 29A"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57612","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:48:50Z","sha256":"a2afa8722489a5cedb4e68a3366691a738b52049ec8a2983c88e118ead2442eb","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-29a.330","next":"us-ky/krs-3.010"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
