{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-303.122","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 303.122","heading":"Bond of undertaking concern desiring to perform provisions of burial","body":"contract.\n(1) Any person, firm, corporation, partnership or undertaking concern, duly and\nregularly licensed to engage in the undertaking business in the Commonwealth of\nKentucky who  may desire to perform the provisions of any agreement, policy,\ncontract, bond, assurance or guarantee issued by any burial association or\nassociation of a similar nature authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of\nKentucky shall file with the commiss ioner of the Department of Insurance of the\nCommonwealth of Kentucky a bond in an amount that is reasonable to be fixed by\nthe commissioner of insurance of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, which bond\nshall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the a greement, policy,\ncontract, bond, assurance or guarantee issued by any burial association or\nassociation of a similar nature authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of\nKentucky to its members as approved by the commissioner of insurance of the\nCommonwealth of Kentucky.\n(2) The commissioner of insurance shall adopt appropriate forms for the filing of the\nbond provided for herein and shall, upon request, furnish said forms to any person,\nfirm, corporation, partnership or undertaking concern, duly and regularly licensed to\nengage in the undertaking business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, who may\ndesire to qualify under the terms of this section.","path":["KRS Chapter 303"],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16013","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:29Z","sha256":"c54a65f125dc54f0ffb14b4e3ebdf8ac39fd49f69c0bd8e1f54883f355542a33","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-303.121","next":"us-ky/krs-303.123"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
