{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.13-081","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.13-081","heading":"Filings open to inspection -- Consumer information system.","body":"(1) All rates, supplementary rate information, and supporting information filed under\nKRS 304.13-011 to 304.13-161 shall be open to public inspection at any reasonable\ntime. Copies may be obtained by any person on request and on payment of a charge\nspecified in Subtitle 4 of this chapter.\n(2) The commissioner shall utilize, develop, or cause to be developed a consumer\ninformation system that will provide and disseminate price and other relevant\ninformation on a readily available basis to purchasers of homeowner s or private\npassenger insurance. The commissioner may utilize, develop, or cause to be\ndeveloped a consumer information system which will provide and disseminate price\nand other relevant information on a readily available basis to purchasers of\ninsurance for commercial risks and personal risks not otherwise specified in this\nsection. Such activity may be conducted internally within the department, in\ncooperation with other state insurance departments, through outside contractors, or\nin any other appropriat e manner. To the extent the commissioner considers\nnecessary and appropriate, insurers, advisory organizations, statistical agents, and\nother persons or organizations involved in conducting the business of insurance in\nthis state, to which this section app lies, shall cooperate with the commissioner in\nthe development and utilization of a consumer information system.
