{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.14-130","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.14-130","heading":"Grounds for disapproval.","body":"(1) The commissioner shall disapprove any form filed under KRS 304.14 -120, or\nwithdraw any previous approval thereof, only on one (1) or more of the following\ngrounds:\n(a) If it is in any respect in violation of, or does not comply with, this code.\n(b) If it c ontains or incorporates by reference, where the incorporation is\notherwise permissible, any inconsistent, ambiguous, or misleading clauses, or\nexceptions and conditions which deceptively affect the risk purported to be\nassumed in the general coverage of the contract.\n(c) If it has any title, heading, or other indication of its provisions which is\nmisleading, or is printed in a size of type or manner of reproduction so as to\nbe substantially illegible.\n(d) As to an individual, group, or blanket health insura nce policy, if the benefits\nprovided therein are unreasonable in relation to the premium charged.\n(e) If it excludes coverage for human immunodeficiency virus infection or\nacquired immunodeficiency syndrome or contains limitations in the benefits\npayable, or in the terms or conditions of the contract, for human\nimmunodeficiency virus infection or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome\nwhich are different than those which apply to any other sickness or medical\ncondition.\n(2) The insurer shall not use in this sta te any form after disapproval or withdrawal of\napproval.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17132","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:43Z","sha256":"23074555e25bdd43c0c8709dd2aa9c1ad864f7c919855a19412f7e8f21cf6387","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.14-120","next":"us-ky/krs-304.14-135"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
