{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.14-350","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.14-350","heading":"Retention of proceeds of policy by company.","body":"(1) Any life insurer shall have power to hold the proceeds of any life or endowment\ninsurance or annuity contract issued by it:\n(a) Upon such terms and restrictions as to revocation by the insured and control\nby beneficiaries,\n(b) With such exemptions from leg al process and the claims of creditors of\nbeneficiaries, other than the insured, and\n(c) Upon such other terms and conditions, irrespective of the time and manner of\npayment of proceeds,\nas shall have been agreed to in writing by the insurer and the insur ed or beneficiary.\nThe insurer shall not be required to segregate funds so held but may hold them as a\npart of its general corporate assets.\n(2) The provisions of this section shall not impair or affect any rights of creditors under\nKRS 304.14-300 and 304.14-330.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17155","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:43Z","sha256":"564aef963b0895be1ad96b86828c71ea9bdbc3ad3d5ac8d1111099d2dae15a60","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.14-340","next":"us-ky/krs-304.14-360"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
