{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.14-450","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.14-450","heading":"Policies to be legible -- Factors to be considered -- Type face style","body":"approved by commissioner.\n(1) All insurance policies subject to the provisions of KRS 304.14 -420 to 304.14 -450\nshall be printed in legible type and in a type face style approved by the\ncommissioner. The commissioner shall by regulation establish a list of type face\nstyles approved as acceptable.\n(2) In determining whether a policy is legible the commissioner shall consider, in\naddition to the requirements of subsection (1) of this  section relating to type face\nsize and style, the following factors:\n(a) Margin size;\n(b) Contrast and legibility of the color of the ink and paper;\n(c) The amount and use of space to separate sections of the policy;\n(d) The use of contrasting titles or headings for sections or similar aids; and\n(e) Any additional factors relevant to legibility which the commissioner may\nprescribe by regulation.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17166","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:43Z","sha256":"04b3671f8c107bddbdae33bf3881195196082470e01f21aa0b070fc1bfd7dd6f","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.14-440","next":"us-ky/krs-304.14-500"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
