{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.14-675","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.14-675","heading":"Coverage for services received in an assisted living community or adult","body":"day care facility.\n(1) Any short -term nursing home insurance policy issued on or after July 15, 2002,\nwhich provides coverage for assisted living benefits shall cover services received in\nany assisted living community which:\n(a) Meets the requirements of KRS 194A.700 to 194A.729 and any administrative\nregulations promulgated under KRS 194A.700 to 194A.729; and\n(b) Meets any additional requirements of an assisted living community set forth in\nthe short-term nursing home insurance policy approved by the commissioner.\n(2) Any short-term nursing home insurance policy issued on or after July 15, 2002, but\nbefore July 15, 2020, which provides coverage for adult day care servic es shall\ncover services received in any adult day care facility that:\n(a) Meets the requirements of KRS 216B.0443 and any administrative regulations\npromulgated under KRS 216B.0443; and\n(b) Meets any additional requirements of an adult day care center set forth in the\nshort-term nursing home insurance policy approved by the commissioner.\n(3) Any short-term nursing home insurance policy issued on or after July 15, 2020, that\nprovides coverage for adult day health care services, shall cover services received in\nany adult day health care facility that:\n(a) Meets the requirements of KRS 216B.0441 and 216B.0443 and any\nadministrative regulations promulgated under KRS 216B.0441 and\n216B.0443; and\n(b) Meets any additional requirements of an adult day health care ce nter set forth\nin the short -term nursing home insurance policy approved by the\ncommissioner.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=50045","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:44Z","sha256":"2484b47a7926b32900dd1c127ed8813c7134c8f0a671092dc9d8987f85525b6a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.14-670","next":"us-ky/krs-304.140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
