{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.15-200","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.15-200","heading":"Incontestability -- Annuities.","body":"If any statements, other than those relating to age, sex and identity are required as a\ncondition to issuing an annuity or pure endowment contract, other than a reversionary,\nsurvivorship or group annuity, and subject to KRS 304.15 -220, there shall be a pr ovision\nthat the contract shall be incontestable after it has been in force during the lifetime of the\nperson or of each of the persons as to whom such statements are required, for a period of\ntwo (2) years from its date of issue, except for nonpayment of stipulated payments to the\ninsurer; and, at the option of the insurer, such contract may also except any provisions\nrelative to benefits in the event of disability and any provisions which grant insurance\nspecifically against death by accident or accidental means.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17218","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:44Z","sha256":"b5f064276eb58de799140777ad2e19c32cd00ab141c082dc547b8e9c2e61b9bc","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.15-190","next":"us-ky/krs-304.15-210"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
