{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.17-020","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.17-020","heading":"Scope of subtitle.","body":"Nothing in this subtitle shall apply to or affect:\n(1) Any policy of liability or workers' compensation insurance with or without\nsupplementary expense coverage therein.\n(2) Any group or blanket policy.\n(3) Life insurance, endowment or annuity contracts, or contracts supplemental thereto\nwhich contain only such provisions relating to health insurance as:\n(a) Provide additional benefits in case of death or dismemberment or loss of sight\nby accident or accidental means, or\n(b) Operate to safeguard such contracts against lapse, or to give a special\nsurrender value or special benefit or an annuity in the event that the insured or\nannuitant becomes totally and permanently disabled, as defined by the contract\nor supplemental contract.\n(4) Reinsurance.\n(5) Any contract made or issued prior to June 18, 1970, togethe r with any extensions,\nrenewals, reinstatements or modifications thereof or amendments thereto, whenever\nmade.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17287","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:45Z","sha256":"f47bd2792746bede265166fcf93de45b6dd21fc41293e2c61e7eeba30d27078a","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.17-010","next":"us-ky/krs-304.17-030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
