{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.17-319","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.17-319","heading":"Coverage for treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders and","body":"craniomandibular jaw disorders.\n(1) All individual policies of health insurance which provide coverage on an expense -\nincurred basis for surgical or nonsurgical treatment of skeletal di sorders shall\nprovide coverage for medically necessary procedures relating to temporomandibular\njoint disorders and craniomandibular jaw disorders.\n(2) The requirements of this section shall apply to all policies issued, delivered, or\nrenewed in this state on or after January 1, 1991.\n(3) Nothing in this section shall require a health insurance policy to provide dental\nservices if dental services are not otherwise scheduled or provided as a part of\npolicy benefits.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17332","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:45Z","sha256":"325cd50f5e937c6d8d27c25df9f4548bafa554b0e865d89e7fa5777a0b56d66e","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.17-3185","next":"us-ky/krs-304.17-320"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
