{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.17a-575","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.17A-575","heading":"Definitions for KRS 304.17A-575 to 304.17A-577.","body":"As used in KRS 304.17A-575 to 304.17A-577, unless the context requires otherwise:\n(1) \"Applicant\" means a physician licensed under KRS Chapter 311, an advanced\npractice registered nurse licensed under KRS Chapter 314, a psychologist licensed\nunder KRS Chap ter 319, or an optometrist licensed under KRS Chapter 320\napplying for credentialing;\n(2) \"Enrollee\" means a person who is eligible to receive health care services under a\nmanaged care plan;\n(3) \"Managed care plan\" means a health benefit plan that integrat es the financing and\ndelivery of appropriate health care services to enrollees by arrangements with\nparticipating providers who are selected to participate on the basis of explicit\nstandards to furnish a comprehensive set of health care services and financ ial\nincentives for enrollees to use the participating providers and procedures provided\nfor in the plan; and\n(4) \"Nonparticipating provider\" means a physician licensed under KRS Chapter 311, an\nadvanced practice registered nurse licensed under KRS Chapter 314, a psychologist\nlicensed under KRS Chapter 319, or an optometrist licensed under KRS Chapter\n320 that has not entered into an agreement with an insurer to provide health care\nservices.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=17444","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:47Z","sha256":"34acb18416d34b17f8473850c1d97330520a9bdf24e8c6e52c5e691247d1b06d","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.17a-570","next":"us-ky/krs-304.17a-576"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
