{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.17c-090","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.17C-090","heading":"Payment of claims of dental-only benefits -- Reports -- Interest.","body":"The provisions of KRS 304.17A-700 to 304.17A-730, relating to payment of claims, shall\napply to limited health service benefit plans for the provision of dental -only benefits,\nexcept as follows:\n(1) A limited health service plan for the provision of dental -only benefits, its agent, or\ndesignee shall have three (3) business days in which to respond to an original or\ncorrected claim submitted electronically under KRS 304.17A -704(1)(a) or, within\nthree (3) business days, the limited health service benefit plan  for the provision of\ndental-only benefits, its agent, or designee may list the claim and the date it was\nreceived on a file that can be accessed electronically by the provider, its agent, or\ndesignee.\n(2) Limited health service benefit plans for the provi sion of dental -only benefits shall\nbe required to submit the reports required by KRS 304.17A-722 on an annual basis.\n(3) Limited health service benefit plans for the provision of dental -only benefits shall\nbe required to pay interest required under KRS 304 .17A-730 for a claim only if the\ninterest calculated on that claim is equal to or greater than five dollars ($5).","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29412","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:49Z","sha256":"96dc8b5c26276483a3fc0eb077c2e5110a01987de9de58a65bc2f941a7cfc088","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.17c-085","next":"us-ky/krs-304.17c-100"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
