{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.18-033","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.18-033","heading":"Optional nursery care coverage for a well newly born child.","body":"(1) All group or blanket health insurance policies providing coverage on an expense\nincurred basis which provide maternity benefits shall offer the master policyholder\nthe option to purchase coverage to pay for routine nursery care for a well newly\nborn child for up to five (5) full days in a hospital nursery.\n(2) The coverage for the well newly born child shall pay the hospital charges for each\nday in the hospital nursery.\n(3) The requirements of this section shall apply to all insurance policies, and\ncertificates, in effect on October 1, 1980, and those policies, and certificates, issued\nthereafter.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29421","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:49Z","sha256":"067ea9002c5e1adc3192dee5140603800203c43dc882c2d6a2dbb64ab1a899cf","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.18-032","next":"us-ky/krs-304.18-034"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
