{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.18-124","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.18-124","heading":"\"Group policy\" defined.","body":"As used in KRS 304.18 -124 to 304.18-127, \"group policy\" means group health insurance\npolicies as defined in KRS 304.18 -020 and blanket health insurance policies which the\ncommissioner, in his or her discretion, designates as subject to KRS 304.18 -124 to\n304.18-127, which:\n(1) Affect the rights of a Kentucky insured and bear a reasonable relation to Kentucky,\nregardless of whether delivered or issued for delivery in Kentucky;\n(2) Provide hospital or surgical expenses benefits or indemnities, other than for a\nspecific disease or accidental injury only, or benefits for loss of time from\nemployment; and\n(3) Are delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed after July 13, 1990.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=29448","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:49Z","sha256":"a82bf587154d551c0f57dbebcc63771f44f2a9146e5cfc008912a0506a33dc08","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.18-120","next":"us-ky/krs-304.18-125"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
