{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.2-120","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.2-120","heading":"Orders and notices in general -- Service.","body":"(1) In general, orders and notices of the commissioner shall be issued in accordance\nwith this chapter. Notices, recommended orders, and final orders issued as a result\nof an administrative hearing shall be issued in accordance with KRS Chapter 13B.\n(2) Orders and notices of the commissioner shall be effective only when in writing\nsigned by the commissioner or by the commissioner's authority.\n(3) Every order of the commissioner shall state its effective date and shall concisely\nstate:\n(a) Its intent or purpose;\n(b) The grounds on which it is based;\n(c) The provisions of this code under which action is taken or proposed to be\ntaken; and\n(d) All other matters required by law.\n(4) All persons holding licenses or certificates of authority from the commissioner shall\nmaintain current residence, business, home office, and administrative addresses, as\napplicable, on file with the commissioner. Licensees shall inform the commissioner\nin writing in a format acceptable to the commissioner of any change in addresses or\nlegal name within thirty (30) days of the change. As a condition to holding a license\nor certificate of authority from the commissioner, persons holding licenses or\ncertificate of authority are deemed to have consented to service of notices and\norders of the commissioner at their addresses on file with the commissioner and any\nnotice or order of the commissioner mailed or delivered to the address on file with\nthe commissioner constitutes valid service of notice or order.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=16659","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:36Z","sha256":"deccc417ca8ba20f11d471dc51d55d3fb4b309d7c6538c9018a6e44a7892d9c1","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.2-110","next":"us-ky/krs-304.2-130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
