{"data":{"id":"us-ky/krs-304.2-160","jurisdiction":"us-ky","citation":"KRS 304.2-160","heading":"Complaints.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"licensee\" means an individual or entity that holds a license\nissued by the commissioner or department.\n(2) Each written and signed complaint received by the department shall be recorded by\nthe department, including the subsequent disposition thereof, and maintained for a\nperiod of not less than five (5) years.\n(3) The records of complaints received by the department shall be indexed whenever\napplicable both by the name of the insurer and by the name of the licensee involved.\n(4) The commissioner shall consider complaints received by the department before\nissuing or renewing any certificate of authority or license.","path":[],"source_url":"https://apps.legislature.ky.gov/law/statutes/statute.aspx?id=57320","current_through":"Includes enactments through the 2026 Regular Session","vintage":"09/05/2026","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T20:57:36Z","sha256":"e6a5e90c74ff1b61026f55b2f812e9ca7e604c20739fb80a13c2c839ff838e48","source_id":"us-ky","stale":false,"prev":"us-ky/krs-304.2-155","next":"us-ky/krs-304.2-165"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
